Ghost Rider is a third-person hack-and-slash game released for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Game Boy Advance based on the 2007 film Ghost Rider , which was released worldwide in February 2007. An Xbox version was originally planned, but was canceled.
Set after the events of the film, the game was written by Marvel writers Garth Ennis and Jimmy Palmiotti. Players can take on the role of Ghost Rider, either on foot or on a Hellcycle. Villains from the film and comics, including Scarecrow, Deathwatch, and Lilith, will also be featured.
The game received mixed reviews for the PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance, and very mixed to negative reviews for the PlayStation Portable.
