Information about the game.
The game begins with Flo, Granny, and Darla going to Dinnerland. Flo points out that the park wasn’t always so great. We flash back to what appears to be the 1980s, where a young Mr. Big is worried about his latest purchase, presumably with his father’s money—Big World . He comes across 14-year-old Flo working a food cart at the park; she’s the only one making money. He then hires her to manage the restaurant in the Jelly Roger game. With the restaurant’s massive success, Mr. Big opens another restaurant in the Log Jam game, followed by restaurants in Spooky Shack, Deep Dive, Tree Tops, and (in the collector’s edition) Big Gold Rush game .
By the end of the game, all the restaurants were thriving, Big World was in excellent condition, and Mr. Big had managed to please his father. Big Sr. then invited him to manage Big Corp , and Fleur suggested he donate the park to the public and name it “Dinnerland.”
How to play
The original gameplay has been slightly modified to keep the player on their toes. For example, when Flo places a piece of food on the stove, she must remember to turn it over, or the food won’t cook completely. Unlike previous games, customers no longer receive a heart bonus for speedy deliveries. The seating arrangements are also slightly different, with customers now sitting at tables instead of a single bar counter. This game features “Dash-thru,” where customers order from a window. Endless Shift mode is absent from this version and has been replaced by “Expert Mode.” As the title suggests, this mode features more difficult versions of previously completed levels. There are also four minigames that can be played after each completed level.
The Collector’s Edition of the game includes additional content, such as “The Klondike Gold Rush” stage, strategy guide, screensaver, concept art, etc.
