When playing Urban Reign, players take on the role of a fierce street fighter hired by one of the city’s most powerful gangs to protect their leader. Players find themselves in the midst of an all-out gang war, involving gang corruption and street justice, spanning from individual residential neighborhoods to the highest levels of municipal government. Urban Reign is a non-stop urban environment, with no time limits or interfering judges. Over 60 different fighters compete in diverse environments, including back alleys, junkyards, and bars. Each has their own distinct fighting skills, which can include boxing, wrestling, and street fighting. Players have access to over 30 different weapons, such as bottles, bats, and ATVs, which they can use in destructible arenas to further increase the chaos and unrest. Gameplay focuses on urban street fighting, and players can team up with an AI-controlled character to execute a variety of deadly and devastating combination moves against multiple opponents across the game’s 100 levels. Additionally, Urban Reign’s multiplayer mode allows up to four players to compete to see who truly rules the neighborhood.
